After having arrived at the airport Tenerife-South you take a taxi to the harbour of Los Cristianos (app. 15 km). The price is 20-25.00 Euro. Often there is the possibility of sharing a taxi with other travellers. In addition to this, there is a public bus line on this route.	Unfortunately at present the bus line 111 only stops directly at the harbour of Los Cristianos at night. During the day, this line only goes to the central bus terminal in Los Cristianos. From there, you can reach the harbour within about 15 minutes by foot - or within few minutes via taxi.
There are two possibilities to get to La Gomera from Los Cristianos:

The classical way to San Sebastian You take one of the safe trailer ferries which go directly to San Sebastián de La Gomera. The Olsenexpress ferry makes the distance in only 40 minutes, the ferry from Naviera Armas lasts approx. 70 minutes. From San Sebastián you then reach your destination comfortably by bus, taxi or rental car. This trip takes app. 70 minutes. In this way you can get an impression of the beauty of La Gomera on your first vacation day already.

The comfortable way directly to Santiago and Valle Gran Rey Those who want to spend their holidays in Valle Gran Rey have the possibility to reach their destination directly with a small speed boat - Benchi Express. The trip takes about 110 minutes and includes stops in San Sebastián and Playa Santiago.

The harbour of Los Cristianos on Tenerife

Important advice for travellers having to stay on Tenerife over night: Don't spend the night outside or on the beach of Los Cristianos. Several thefts have happened recently. If you have to stay overnight on Tenerife due to flight schedules, stay at a hotel or at a guesthouse. Moreover the airport stays open throughout the night.
