There is a banana plantation on one side, and on the other side you'll find the street leading to Vueltas and La Calera. The owner has laid out a pretty little garden around the house. The house disposes of a small patio furnished with a table and chairs. You can sit under a large shady avocado tree which invites for a rest. Along the house a stair leads up to the roof garden, which offers a fantastic view over the banana plantations to the sea, to Borbalan, and to La Calera. Beach: 600 m Restaurants: 200 m Appointments: The Biofinca is the private residential house belonging to the biological vegetable nursery Lomo del Riego. It is situated directly next to the banana plantation which also belongs to the nursery, surrounded idyllically by reed and trees, on separate grounds. It is rented to tourists only part of the time, therefore the children's rooms and some cupboards containing personal objects are locked. A house for individualists ? the lush nature and the architecture but also the interior of this detached house set it apart from most of the "common" apartments and holiday flats in Valle Gran Rey. The appointments are light and pleasant. In addition to the garden and the spacious terrace (furnished with a table and chairs) the house offers plenty of space for relaxing. The guests may use the books and games. Hot water is supplied via a solar spring which can be switched to electricity if necessary. Only ecological products are used for cleaning and care. The Finca sleeps appr. 4 persons and stretches over 2 levels. The upper level consists of a separate bedroom (double bed, 1.35 x 1.90), the kitchen, the dining room with table and chairs and a lounge (sofabed, 1.20 x 2.00) with a small coffee table. The kitchen is furnished with a large refridgerator, cooker with oven, sink, crockery, and all utensils necessary for preparing smaller and larger dishes. From here you can reach the partially roofed terrace via a short stair, through another door you can go down into the garden. The terrace gives you a fantastic view into the green and over La Puntilla to the sea. From the living room you can reach the lower part of the house via few steps. Here you'll find the bathroom (bathtub, toilet, and washing basin) and another bedroom (doublebed, 1.40 x 2.00). From this bedroom, you can reach the wonderful garden containing trees and tropical plants. This Finca is especially well suited also for families since the children can play in the garden and experience nature if the parents just want to relax and enjoy the calmness. Toddlers should be used to stairs, though! All flats are fitted with a bathroom, a kitchen unit, and a livingroom with dining recess.
